George E. Mauck "Together Again" 89 of Kent passed away peacefully October 31
November 3, 2009
eacefully October 31, 2009 surrounded by love. He was born January 31, 1920 in Woolridge, PA to the late Leroy E. and Millie (Blier) Mauck. Served with the US Army during W.W.II. He worked for Conrail on the Eire Line as a Locomotive Engineer and was a former member of the VFW. Survivors include his son, Edward Mauck of Kent, daughters, Mary (Mike) McCombs of Brimfield, Betsy (Bob) Persky of NC, Ellen Schrack of CT, brother, Howard Mauck of Kent, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris A. Mauck, Infant son, sister, Hilda Baters, brothers, Donald, Arthur, and Richard. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Thank You to Summa Hospice, Tom Hoffman, and to all the on call staff with Summa Hospice. Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna handled the arrangements.
