Anita J. (Mancini) Hart, age 78, of North Canton, passed away early Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 in Durkin Hill Senior Care after extended illness. She was born in Canton and has been a resident of North Canton most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church of North Canton and was a graduate of Timken High School in 1948 with special honors in Secretariat. She had been an employee of Stark State Tech as secretary to Business Technology. Prior to that she had been secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of Canton City School She is survived by her husband, Gerry Hart, with whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage on Oct. 29, 2009; 3 children, 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin M Hart of Cuyahoga Falls, Keith and Jeannette Hart of North Canton, daughter, Monica Hart of North Canton; brother, Eugene Mancini of Akron, sister and brother-in-law, Marlene Mancini and George Frost of Kent, 2 grandchildren, Keith and Maria Hart. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thurs., Nov. 19, 2009 with Rev. Msgr. Jay Clarke as celebrant. Interment will be in Northlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Wed. Nov. 18, 2009, 5 to 8 P.M. at the Rossi Funeral Home. A special thanks to care-givers, Ruth DeLong and Mariam Summers and the staff at Durkin Hill Senior Care and to the hospice care givers.
