TON, SC Services for Annie Boykin Wilkerson will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at New Mt. Zion AME Church, 103 Cromer Rd, Lexington, SC 29073. A viewing will be held at the church, 12 2:00 pm on Friday. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Please send cards and flowers to Palmer Memorial Chapel, 1200 Fontaine Pl, Columbia, SC 29223. Mrs. Wilkerson went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Annie was born in Limeville, AL and her family later moved to Ohio when she was a child. Annie graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School (Kent, OH in 1954.) She met her soul mate Albert Wilkerson and they married in 1961. Annie will always be remembered for her love for her church, work with the Missionary Society and her love for cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie Johnson Boykin and Dallas Boykin; brothers, Willie James, Garfield, Grover, Wilson, Charlie and Cephas. Surviving are her husband, Albert; brother, George Boykin; sisters, Noree Brown, Claudia (Bruce) Calmese and Josie McCowin; children, Ramona, Anthony, Willie, Brian and Dallas (Angela) Wilkerson; granddaughters, Shanea, Brittney, Shamone, Autumn, Taylor, Hailey and Brooklyn; two great grandsons and a host off nieces and nephews. www.palmermemorialchapel.com (Palmer Memorial Chapel 803-786-6300 RC 11/19/09)
