The taxpayers living in our county seat (Ravenna) will be paying the new mayor and safety director (same guy) a yearly salary of $76,783 in 2010.
In contrast, the taxpayers living in the self-ordained "crown jewel of Portage County" (Kent), will pay a city manager, a safety director and a mayor a total of $206,332 in 2010 for the same leadership.
Who's getting the biggest bang for the buck?
