(Cox) Dibble 72 of Diamond, OH, formerly of Cleveland, OH and Ashville, PA, died Saturday, March 13, 2010. She was born October 25, 1937 in Ashville, PA to the late Gilbert and Kathleen (Noel) Cox. Bertha was a member of St. Catherines Church in Lake Milton, worked for Cleveland City Schools and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband Howard Slim, daughters Tammy (Chuck) Crossland and Brenda (Gene) Witkowski, sons John (Margarita) and Jeff (Kim), grandchildren Candis, Brandi, Angela, Matthew, Katarina, JD, Kaitlyn and Melanie and sisters Emma, Annie, Ruth, Mary, Vera and Edna. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Deborah Lege, and brothers Jim and George. Calling hours will be from 2 4 and 6 9 PM Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Shorts- Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at St. Catherines Church 1245 Grandview Street in Lake Milton with Father David W. Merzweiler officiating. (Please meet at the church) Private burial will take place at a later date. Bertha was loved by many and in her honor the family request, in lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the American Cancer Society or the Portage County Relay for Life.
