Irma M Thornburg My Wife took her last breath 3/15/08 at 5pm in Slidel LA. Irma died of cancer of the lung. We were married 55 years. We retired from teaching in 1991, she from Waterloo High in Atwater and I from Maplewood JVS in Ravenna. For 17 years we were "Snow Birds" We spent our summers in Atwater, Ohio and our winters in Picayune Miss, just across the border from LA. She was not only my wife but my life long friend. She was also a very dedicated teacher. She touched the lives of a lot of people in Atwater and I just wanted you to know that she never forgot any of you.
