Dorothy Bernice Carolus, 76 of Claremont, NC and formerly of Ravenna passed away Friday July 25, 2008 at the Catawba Valley Medical Center. She was born June 22, 1932 in Dauphin County, PA to the late Harrison A. and Bertha (Frain) Lindsey. Dorothy retired after 30 years of service from G.E. in Ravenna and attended the Wayland Community Church. Survivors include her sons Gregory (Amanda Smith) Carolus, Keith Carolus, Charles (Kathleen) Carolus, daughter Penelope (Brian) Cottrell, grandchildren Matthew, Brian, Jr., Adam, Claire and Joshua, great granddaughter Skyla , brother Leroy Lindsey and special friends Faye Tucker and family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Sr and son Kenneth Jr. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Friday August 22, 2008 at Shorts Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev.
