John C. Volinski 45 years of age a longtime Shalersville- Mantua area resident, passed away Monday August 18, 2008 at his residence. John was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 8, 1963 the son of John and Joan (Patronete) Volinski. John was employed as a truck driver for R&J Trucking, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna. John was preceded in death in 1995 by his father John Volinski. Survivors include his son John T. and daugher Megan Jo Volinski of Garfield Hts., his mother Joan Volinski of Shalersville; brothers Anthony W. (Sandy), Michael J. (Janice) and Richard W. all of North Carolina; sister Lisa Leasure of Auburn; several nieces & nephews and his former wife Julie (Murowsky) Volinski of Garfield Hts. No calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be Friday August 22, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua with Rev. Fr. Michael Garvey officiating.
