Michael J. Jaminet, 44, of Stow, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Hospice Care Center in Copley Twp. after a long brave battle with cancer. He was born June 16, 1964, and raised in Youngstown. He was employed by Progressive Insurance in Mayfield, for 20 years as an IT Applications Programmer Lead. He married Kelly on May 24, 1986, at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna. He was an avid photographer and especially enjoyed digital photography, of which his two favorite subjects were his dogs, Dexter and Harvey. He is survived by his wife, Kelly S. (Lynch) Jaminet; father, Raymond J. (Joyce A.) of Youngstown; sisters, Michelle R. of Palm Beach, FL, Susan M. of Warren, MI, Sheri A. Scarborough of Boca Raton, FL, Jennifer Nielson of Canfield; brothers, Jean J. of New York, NY, Raymond J. Jr. of Youngstown, Nick J. of Canfield, Phillip J. of Canfield, Charlie J. of Youngstown; step father, Eugene A. Barko of Youngstown; father and mother-in-law, William D. and Peggy W. (Knapp) Lynch of Murfreesboro, TN; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley A. (Aey) Barko. Calling hours will be held 4-7 PM Friday, October 31st at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman.
