The Portage Trail Walkers will gather on Saturday for a moonlight walk along the Towpath, north from Ira Trailhead.
A potluck picnic is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by the walk until 10 p.m.
The trail has a flat, packed-gravel base and is 2.5 miles to the north and back into a 72 percent full moon.
Sunset is at 8:59 p.m.
Those wishing to participate can take S.R. 303 west from Streetsboro. Travel through Hudson and into Peninsula.
Turn left (south) on Riverview (the second light in Peninsula), and go about five miles.
Go 1.2 miles past Bolanz and park on the left at Ira Trailhead.
