Next week is the last chance for candidates and levy backers to get their message to voters, and for voters to meet the candidates.

Monday, the Randolph Lions Club is sponsoring a candidates night.

The forum will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Center, behind Town Hall at 1639 S.R. 44.

The event is open to all candidates, including judicial, Waterloo school board and township trustee, and representatives of county levies and state issues.

Tuesday, the Brimfield-Suffield Lions will hold a candidates night from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Field Middle School cafeteria, 2900 S.R. 43.  Doors will open at 6 for candidates and voters to mingle followed by presentations from candidates for trustee, school board, municipal court, and state and county issues.

Thursday, there are four events.

The Rootstown Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a candidates night, for township trustee and school board only, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the gym of  Rootstown High School, 4190 S.R. 44.

Questions for the candidates can be submitted on the chamber’s Web site at www.RootstownChamber.org.

If time permits questions can also be submitted at the event.

The Ravenna Youth Council is sponsoring a candidates night at 6 p.m. at Reed Memorial Library. The event is open to all four at-large city council candidates, both people running for council in the city’s Ward 1, and the candidates for Ravenna Township trustee and the Ravenna Board of Education.

The student members of the youth council will facilitate the candidates night and ask general questions of the candidates. Members of the public also may submit questions in writing prior to the event.

Hiram College is sponsoring an event to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Garfield Meeting House, corner of S.R. 305 and S.R. 700.

The Atwater Lions Club’s candidates forum is set for 7 p.m. Thursday at the township hall, 1219 S.R. 183.
