Kent State to host a Spaghetti Dinner to help support the United Way of Portage County
Kent, Ohio.
Kent State University announces its annual spaghetti dinner at Kent State University on Friday, November 13, 2009, from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. which will benefit the United Way of Portage County. The dinner includes Spaghetti, Bread, Salad, Dessert and beverage. Additionally, there will be a raffle for several gift baskets.
Location: KSU Student Center (2nd Floor) KSU Ballroom balcony.
Price: The dinner cost is $10 pre-sale for adults, pre-sale kids 5-11 $5.50, children under 5 are free with an adult. Students and Seniors $7 pre-sale. All tickets are $1 more at the door on the 13th.
Parking: Parking is available in the visitor's lot in front of the student center.
"I encourage the community to come out and enjoy a nice spaghetti dinner. This dinner will provide funding for important community programs and allow individuals the opportunity to meet Kent State faculty, staff, and students that are running the United Way Campaign on Campus." said Steve Kleiber, President & CEO of United Way of Portage County.
The Portage County United Way is local and meets diverse needs throughout the community. United Way is an independent agency that has many programs to help the residents of the community. The Mission of the United Way of Portage County is "Caring that strengthens our community, improves lives, and makes your contribution count."
