Mary M. Watson of Nelson Township

of Nelson Township, passed to eternal life on Friday, November 13, 2009 at her residence. In Dunbar, Pennsylvania, on May 2, 1931, Jim and Florence Armel Shipley welcomed the birth of their daughter, Mary. On August 28, 1948, Mary M. Shipley and James Kenneth Watson were united in marriage. They relocated to Windham in 1952, and later made their home in Nelson Township. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Warren, Ohio. Mary devoted her life to her family. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. As a homemaker, Mary enjoyed her life and the time spent with family and friends. While relaxing, Mary would enjoy her crocheting. Memories of Mary will be carried on by her loving family; her caring children, James Watson, Jr. of Florida, Larry and his wife Sarah Watson, Lonnie Watson, Keith Watson all of Warren, Ohio, Ken and his wife, Joyce Watson of Ravenna, Ohio and her daughter, Brenda Motter of Lordstown, Ohio; her adored grandchildren, Lisa, Diana, James III, Jennifer, Ronald, Robert, Andrew, David, Laura, Melissa, John, Jarred, Keith, Jr., Brandi, Cody, Jonathan and Caleb; her 26 great grandchildren; her brother John Smalley; her sisters, Mildred Martin and Edna Thorpe. Preceding Mary were her husband, James on January 20, 2004, her brothers, Harry Smalley, James Shipley, Ralph Smalley, Frank Wallace, Don Wallace, Willard Wallace, Bob Smalley, Lee Smalley, Melvin Wallace and her sister, Frances Wallace. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio where a service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Douglas Brown officiating.
