AKRON — Tallmadge resident Dawn Snyder was arrested after allegedly biting off the tip of an Akron woman’s finger during a fight at an Akron bar earlier this month.
Snyder, 27, was charged this week with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct by intoxication, according to Akron Lt. Rick Edwards.
Snyder was not identified as the alleged “finger-biter” until detectives followed up on the case a few days later, Edwards said.
A fight between a few individuals broke out at 2 a.m. March 6 at the bar and spilled into the parking lot after Snyder allegedly yelled derogatory words at some bar patrons, according to Akron police.
After the scuffle spilled out into the parking lot, Snyder allegedly “bit the finger tip of (the victim’s) right index finger off,” according to the report.
Snyder was arraigned this week in Akron Municipal Court.
