One year ago today Ben Dillon was killed by small arms fire in Iraq. Following his dream, Ben became a Army Ranger and was proud of his accomplishment. Ben's family loves him and misses him every day but we would like to pause on the anniversary of his death to thank everyone who took the time to visit us, to console us and who stopped and shared their memories of Ben's life with us.
Every contribution to the Scholarship fund by people all over the world has uplifted our spirits and helps students at Southeast High School who will realize their dreams with the help of the scholarship fund.
Thank you for your comfort and your support through out the last year when our family needed you most.
Today on the anniversary of Ben's death please remember our men and women in the service of their country in the United States and serving in Iraq. Especially remember those who have given their lives in service of their country.
All gave some and some gave all.
Sincerely
The Family of
U.S. Army Ranger Corporal Benjamin Charles Dillon
Rangers lead the Way.

Over the past year I have read many stories about Ben and I would like to say I am sorry for your sacrifice and loss. I spent 11 years on active duty and in the reserves and while on active duty I trained with the 2/75 rangers at Ft. Lewis. I am sure you are proud of him, and being a Ranger shows the special skills and courage he had. Thank You and God Bless your family.
