You probably don't care that they weren't run over by a car and won't starve to death, wet and miserable. You don't care that they were found by someone who has already adopted three cats of their own and can't afford to adopt more. You don't care that the Portage County APL has no more room for abandoned cats, but accepted these anyway after we scraped together a donation from our grocery money so they could be fed for a few days instead of euthanized. You don't care that someone else had to accept the responsibility that was yours. You just don't care.
