Local Girl elected president of sororityJanuary 29, 2010
Amber Davis, a 2007 graduate of James A. Garfield High School was recently elected president of Sigma Kappa Sorority at Marietta College. Amber is a junior at Marietta College with a double major in advertising/public relations and marketing with a minor in leadership studies. Previously she was vice president of alumni relations and philanthropy chairman in the sorority. She is also involved in St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Relay for Life, American Advertising Federation, Public Relations Club, Student Senate, College Union Board, and Student Alumni Association, all while maintaining a 3.4 G.P.A. and documenting 100 hours of community service.
