Local teen band, Noize from the Basement, has been busy the past few
weeks,
and their upcoming schedule will be just as exciting. On January 29th,
Noize from the Basement performed for a full house at JB's in Kent. At
one
point, host Brandi M. from VH1's "Rock of Love" and "Charm School"
jumped
on stage with the kids. The band was asked to return on May 14th to
perform in a showcase performance for Kim Stephens from One Eye
Management
and Capitol Records. If you missed their JB's show, be sure you catch Noize from the Basement at the "Cuyahoga Falls YMCA Battle of the Bands" fundraiser on February 26th, 2010. The show will be held at the Cuyahoga Falls High School Auditorium. Show starts at 6:30 and ends at 10:00 PM. You can purchase your tickets in advance, or at the door for $5.00. Two days later, the band will be opening for Detroit's own "Motown Rage" at Peabody's Down Under, located in The Flats, downtown Cleveland. Show
begins at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $10.00 in advance, and $12.00 at the door. Please note: Peabody's adds $3.00 at the door for anyone under 21. So come out and support these talented teens. Please go to the Noize from the
Basement Street Team website and join their Street Team. For more information, you can visit their website at www.myspace.com/noizefromthebasement, or send them an email at Noize_Basement@yahoo.com. You can also call (330) 678-7864 to purchase
tickets to any of their shows.
