Baughman '12 named to Dean's High Honors List at Marietta College
MARIETTA, Ohio - Marietta College student Rachel K. Baughman of Kent, Ohio, the
daughter of Jaime and Scott Baughman of Kent, Ohio, has been named to the Dean's High
Honors List for the fall 2009 semester.
Any full-time Marietta College student completing at least 15 credit hours with a grade
point average of3.75 or higher in a given semester is recognized as a Dean's High Honors List
student for that semester.
Baughman is a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School and is working toward a
major in History at Marietta.
Celebrating its 175th anniversary during the 2009-10 academic year, Marietta College is
a four-year liberal arts college located in Marietta, Ohio at the confluence of the Muskingum and
Ohio rivers. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy begun in 1797, the College was
officially chartered in 1835. Today, Marietta College serves a body of 1,400 full-time students.
