No one was injured, but traffic on S.R. 43 was backed up from River Bend Boulevard in Kent to Ravenna Road in Franklin Township just before 3 p.m. Monday after a car rolled over just north of Theodore Roosevelt High School. Witnesses said a cable company crew was doing work in the area as the car approached. It apparently rolled over after attempting to go around the work site, witnesses said. The driver, who was the lone occupant of the car, refused treatment by paramedics at the scene, according to Kent Fire Capt. Chuck Palmer. It is unknown if the driver of the car will be cited, as Kent police had no additional information on the crash at press time.
