Ravenna martial arts instructor wins grand championship

Jack Edwards of Martial Arts Ohio in Ravenna recently won a grand championship while competing in the Annaul Kuk Sool Won Midwest Martial Arts Tournament in St. Louis, Mo.
Edwards is the head instructor of Martial Arts Ohio in Ravenna, and he also teaches at Martial Arts Ohio in Streetsboro.
In the all-day event held at the University of Missouri, Edwards won first place in the form compeition, first place int eh staff form competition and also first place in sparring.
Edwards also won second place in self-defense techniques, second place in board breaking and third pace in the sword-form competition.
Recognized as the Senior Grand Champion of the event, Edwards has been invited to attend the World Championship in Houston, which will be held in October.
