Staff report In an offseason that has already included plenty of action, the Cleveland Cavaliers may not be done trying to upgrade their roster. Reports surfaced late Monday night that the Cavs have opened talks with power forward Leon Powe, who has spent the previous three seasons with the Boston Celtics. No contract negotiations have begun between Powe and the Cavs, but discussions could potentially pull the 6-foot-8, 240 pound forward from the Celtics. Powe, 25, missed the last 12 games of the 2008-09 season and all of the 2009 playoffs with a torn ACL. Regardless of who he plays for in 2009-10, he would likely miss at least half of the season as he rehabs from the knee injury. Powe’s career averages are 6.6 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game.
