Record-Courier staff report ERIE — Akron’s frustration continues. One night after they watched their playoff hopes come to an end in Erie, the Aeros suffered another painfull loss in western Pennsylvania on Saturday. This time, Erie blasted a pair of 10th inning home runs to lift the SeaWolves to a 5-4 comeback victory. The Aeros scored two in the top of the 10th, only to watch John Murrian greet reliever Omar Aguilar with his first homer of the year. Matthew Mansilla followed with a single, setting the stage for Brent Wyatt’s walk-off blast over the wall in right field. Aguillar failed to record an out as he fell to 2-7 with his second blown save of the season. Wyatt’s home run offered some redemption following a potentially critical blunder a half-inning earlier. Two runs scored on an error by the Erie second baseman, allowing Akron to take a 4-2 lead. Akron held an early 2-0 lead after scoring single runs in the second and fourth innings. Miguel Perez doubled and scored on a fielder’s choice in the second. He scored again in the fourth on a single by Lucas Montero.
