Almeda Cole

She was born Jan. 16, 1905 in Gransville, W.Va.

In addition to Mrs. Romito, survivors include her son, John (Nancy) Cole II of Statesville, N.C.; daughters, Orma Stump and Betty (Eugene) Stuver, both of Bedford; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her husbands, John Cole and Carl Bell, and sons, Carl Bell Jr. and Jacob Bell, died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Johson-Romito Funeral Home, 521 Broadway, Bedford, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
