Born Nov. 26, 1938 in Mesa, Ariz., she was the daughter of Daniel and Melvina (Fish) Cummings. She had lived in the Streetsboro-Shalersville area for 26 years.
Mrs. Wigand formerly was employed as a nurse's aide at Hattie Larlham Foundation and in production at Aersol Systems in Twinsburg.
Survivors include her husband, William C.; sons, Reed Heath of Anchorage, Alaska and William J. Wigand of Streetsboro; daughter, Shirley (Roy Bowden) Tomsick of Garrettsville; four grandchildren; mother, Melvina Rogers of Taylor, Ariz.; and sister, Donna Osbourne of Taylor, Ariz. Her father, Daniel Cummings, died previously.
Calling hours will be held from noon until services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Green's Funeral Home in Mantua. The Rev. William Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville.
