Frank Bennett

Born Dec. 31, 1931 in Akron, he was the son of Theophlious E. and Myrtle M. (Winkelman) Bennett.

Mr. Bennett retired from Ford Motor Co., Walton Hills Stamping Plant in 1977 after 10 years of service.

He also served in the U.S. Army in the 1950s in South Korea and Panama.

Survivors include his son, Frank A.; foster daughter, Deana; six grandchildren; and brothers Wilson of Akron and Clinton (Bertha) of Stow. His sister, Emma Fulton, and brother, Robert, died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Kent Chapel, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Terry Lodico officiating. Burial will be in Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
