Alex Orban

Born Oct. 20, 1913 in Wheeling, W.Va., he was the son of John and Rose (Caspert) Orban.

Mr. Orban was a cabinet maker and had formerly worked for Johnson Rubber in Middlefield. He also owned the Village Tavern in Lake Milton.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret (Pinter); sons, Alex J. of Ravenna, James "Huey" of Garrettsville and John A. of Windham; and one grandchild.

There will be no calling hours. Private services will be held for the family. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hiram. Arrangements are being handled by Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel.
