Frank Mounts

Born Feb. 14, 1918 in Wareagle, W.Va., he was the son of A.C. and Sarah (Matney) Mounts. He had lived in Ohio for more than 30 years.

Mr. Mounts was a coal miner.

He attended God's Church in Ravenna.

Survivors include his wife, Worthy (Blankenship), to whom he had been married for 53 years; sons, James of Vasant, Va., Jason, Rev. Ernest and Danny, all of Ravenna, and Richard of Atwater; daughters, Rev. Vicie Taylor and Janice Brown, both of Ravenna; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister. His daughters, Sarah, Linda Faye and Mary Kay, died previously.

Calling hours will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at the City of Refuge, Church of God in Ravenna where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Joe Deary officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. Arrangements were handled by Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel.
