Louis Glod

Born April 25, 1921 in Hazelton, Pa., he was the son of Frank and Julia Glod.

Mr. Glod worked for Ohio Edison Co. as a truck driver until he retired in 1987.

He was a member of St. Patrick Church.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Armenia N. (Montoni) of Kent; and sisters Ida Orlander, Mrs. Edward (Ann) Palatore and Mrs. Emro (Genevieve) Shivy, all of Hazelton, Pa. His brothers, Joseph, John, Stanley and Anthony and sister, Julia Madefeski, all died previously.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Church in Kent, the Rev. Joseph Ruggieri officiating. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick School Endowment Fund.
