Clarence Powers

Born May 9, 1923 in Kentucky, he was the son of Duncan and Della (Vanover) Powers. He lived in Palm Bay, Fla. before moving to Ravenna two years ago.

Mr. Powers was a paratrooper with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a machinist for a rubber factory in Youngstown.

Survivors include daughter, Susan of Youngstown; brother, Allen of Tiffin; and sisters, Okla V. Bishop of Ravenna and Emma E. Ferrell of Akron. His wife, Lorene, died in 1995.

There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements have been made by the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home in Ravenna.
