Born April 11, 1924, in Richland Township, Pa., he was the son of Herbert and Blanch (McCall) Adams. Formerly of Mantua, he had lived in Ravenna for 15 years.
Mr. Adams worked as a custodian for Omega Co. in Ravenna.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his stepdaughters, Angie Wright and Debbie Crookham, both of Freedom Township; four grandchildren; brothers, Robert of Baltimore, Md. and Arnold of Hayward, Calif; and sisters, Rose Smeltz of Pleasantville, Pa., Hazel Fink of Mantua and Helen Kurka of Dorset, Ohio. His wife, Thelma, died in 1989.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at 11 am. Tuesday at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna, with the Rev. Roger Mize officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Shorts Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel.
