Thomas Finch

Born Oct. 11, 1936 in Ravenna, he was the son of George and Alice (Crum) Finch. He had lived in Rootstown most of his life.

Mr. Finch was employed at Allen Aircraft in Ravenna.

He was a member of Ravenna Moose Lodge 1234 and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his sons, Tim (Dawn) of Edinburg, Tom (Jane) of Ravenna, and Mark (Rowena) of Rootstown; daughter Mrs. David (Christina) English of Atwater; seven grandchildren; brothers George and Ray of Ravenna, Bob of Mesa, Ariz., and Jack of Rootstown; sisters, Kathryn Bormuth of Kent and Wanda Nicklas of Akron; and former wife Dolores Williams of Ravenna. His brother Don died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Shorts Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Sam Goebel officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
