Carolyn Brunn

Born March 9, 1911 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of Frank Sprafka and Pauline Sheck. She had lived in Freedom for more than 50 years.

Mrs. Brunn was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Church of God for more than 70 years and was a Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include her sons, Gene (Sarah), James and Mark, all of Freedom, and Gary (Margie) of Cincinnati; daughters, Gloria Fuller of Freedom and Diane (William) Dvorak of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank of Cleveland and Walter of Florida; and sisters, Eleanor Souvey of California and Rose March of Cleveland. Her husband, Guy, died in 1978. Her sons, Raymond and Daniel, a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Margaret Fulop, also died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at Shorts Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel and 30 minutes prior to the 2 p.m. Saturday services at the First Church of God in Ravenna. The Rev. Carl Holm will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
