Born April 14, 1925 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Griffiths) Hardesty.
Mrs. Lee was a member of the Carpenters Local No. 9 Retirees Club and the AARP of Stow and Munroe Falls.
Survivors include her husband, D.C. "Red"; sons, Randy (Jackie) Phelps of Arcadia, Fla. and Rick Phelps of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughter, Mrs. Denny (Linda) Holmes of Hiram; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Dal Hardesty of Kent; and sisters, Ruth Bailey of Kent and Cora Caldwell of Arizona. Her brothers, Earl and Tom Hardesty, died previously.
Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Monday at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent, with the Rev. Mark Pemberton officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Stow.
