Isabell Smith

Born in Ravenna, Nov. 8, 1910, she was a daughter of Frank and Blanche Merrian. She grew up in Ravenna before marrying and moving to Akron and then California. She was a graduate of the Class of 1929 of Ravenna High School and Bohecker's Business College.

Mrs. Smith worked as a secretary at the McComb Ford dealership in Ravenna.

Survivors include her son, James of Studio City, Calif.; two grandchildren; brother, Lewis Merrian of Kent; and sister, Gloria Hill of Stow. Her husband, Jim Smith, died previously.

Burial was in California.
