Born Nov. 24, 1913 in Mammoth, W.Va., she was a resident of Mantua for the past 23 years.
She maintained her membership in the Mammoth Advent Christian Church.
Survivors include sons, Gene of Georgia, Ray of Burton, Donald of Mantua, Harold of Akron, James of Canton and Bernard of Mammoth; daughters, Norva Warner of St. George W.Va., and Lou Vernih Citraro of Akron; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Arch Young Jr. of Tomball, Texas; and a sister, Dolly Daniels of Fort Worth, Texas. An infant daughter died previously as did her parents, and brothers Milton and Edward Young and a sister, Ruby Stone.
Calling hours will 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday with family visitation at 6 p.m. at the Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, 95 Franklin St., Chagrin Falls. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Cooke Funeral Home, 600 Old Fort, Cedar Grove, W.Va.
