Frank Burt

He was the son of Ernest and Blanche (McLane) Burt.

Mr. Burt served as a sales engineer for Lincoln Industries in St. Louis until he retires.

He was a forward observer in General Patton's Army during the Battle of the Bulge and was decorated for laying wire under fire.

He was a charter member of Faith United Methodist Church and a member of North Canton Elks Lodge No. 2029 and Oakwood Country Club.

In addition to his daughter in Ravenna, survivors include his wife, Edwina "Winnie", to whom he was married for 53 years; son, Martin of Johnson Island, Hawaii; son-in-law, John Green of Ravenna; one grandchild; and sister, Mrs. William (Ina) Bean of McGraw, N.Y. His son, Russell, died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Karlo and Sons Funeral Home, 512 S. Main St., North Canton, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with Dr. Alan F. Kimber officiating.
