Ann Andresh

Born Aug. 11, 1921 in Canonsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Donato and Julia (DePaulo) DeVitis. She had lived in Streetsboro for44 years.

Mrs. Andresh was a registered nurse. She retired from Western Reserve Psychiatric Hospital (formerly Hawthorden) in Sagamore Hills.

Survivors include her sons Michael Garlisi of Mentor, Phillip Garlisi of Streetsboro and John H. Andresh Jr. of Streetsboro; daughters Anna Marie Mellor of Streetsboro, Mrs. Thomas (Julie) Aquila of Concord and Charlotte Ragan of Akron; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Mary DeVitis, Viola Cerenzia, Yvonne DeVitis, and Marie Natale, all of Canonsburg, Pa. Her husband, John Andresh Sr.; brothers John, Pete and Dan DeVitis; and sister, Carmell Malone, died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today at Shorts Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Thomas McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Cemetery in Akron.
