Born July 8, 1913 in Yugoslavia, he was the son of Ivan and Julia Mozer. He came to the United States in 1952 and had lived in Ravenna for 31 years.
Mr. Mozer retired as a grounds supervisor at Kent State University in 1979.
Survivors include his sons, Tony and John, both of Ravenna, and Steve of Macedonia; daughters, Mary McQuain and Angela Strickland, both of Ravenna; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Menka Valencak of Croatia. His wife, Elizabeth, died in June 1990. A brother and two sisters died previously.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Shorts Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, with William Wisniewski officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
