She was born Nov. 30, 1908, in Orange Township in Cuyahoga County, the daughter of Walter and Emma (Haas) Jackson.
Mrs. Collier was in the first graduating class from Orange High School in 1927. She retired from the Mogul Corp. in Chagrin Falls and spent many years working with her husband, Walter, in his building and excavating business. She had a real estate license and worked for Kallstrom and for Century 21. She was the secretary for the South Russell Planning Board and was first violin for the Chagrin Falls Symphony Orchestra.
Survivors include her daughter, Jayne Collier of Twin Lakes. Her husband, Walter, died in 1990 and daughter, Joan, died in 1936.
Visitation will take place one hour before the 1 p.m. service Monday at the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Kent Chapel. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery in Chagrin Falls.
