Alberta Veccia

Born Nov. 25, 1946 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of Albert and Angela (Lenzo) Calvo. She was a 25-year resident of Garrettsville.

Mrs. Veccia worked for nine years as a general office worker at Associated Steel in Cleveland.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Leonard F., whom she married March 29, 1974; daughters, Mrs. Jason (Angella) Vaughn of Fort Campbell, Ky. and Andrea of Windham; stepson, Leonard (Sandy) of Windham; stepdaughter, Shelley of Parkman; three grandchildren; and brothers, Rous (Dreama) Calvo of South Euclid and Michael (Margene) Calvo of Willowick. Her father died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home in Garrettsville were services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. James Lang officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
