Born July 16, 1942 in Ravenna, he was the son of Ralph and Betty (Herren) Kaley. He lived in Columbiana County most of his life.
Mr. Kaley was a 1961 graduate of Southeast High School and worked as a foreman for Conrail.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring and was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Lisbon.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include, his wife, Betty Kaley of Damascus; son, Scott D. Kaley of Salem; four grandchildren; mother, Betty of Deerfield; brothers Thomas of Alliance, Michael of Marlboro, John of Deerfield, Timothy of Tuma, Ariz. and Edward of Salem; and sisters, Claudia Russell of Datman, Ariz., Sue Ann Kaley of Massillon, Linda Ruth of Alliance, Carol Lasch of Hartville and Patricia Adkins of Deerfield. His father, Ralph, died previously.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 9 tonight at the Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home in Alliance. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann Catholic Church with the Rev. Jeffrey Mickler officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park.
