Roma Berry

Born Sept. 27, 1923 in Newton Falls, she was the daughter of Jessie and Lelia Grace (Heckathorn) White. She was a 40-year resident of Newton Falls.

She retired in 1975 after 31 years as a press operator at Packard Electric in Warren.

Mrs. Berry was a member of First Christian Church in Newton Falls. She was a member of AARP and liked to travel.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Berry of Poland, Ohio, whom she married Sept. 13, 1952; a sister, Mrs. Melvin (Norma Jean) Wilson of Garrettsville; and nephew, Dennis Wilson of Garrettsville.

Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the James Funeral Home, Inc., 8 E. Broad St., Newton Falls. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Newton Falls Cemetery.
