Eula Grace Morrison, 74, a native of Black Horse, died Tuesday in Lecanto, Fla. Born Nov. 5, 1923, in Black Horse, she was the daughter of Belinda and Louis Harper. She lived in Beaverton, Mich. Mrs. Morrison was a retired secretary. She was a member of the Dale United Methodist Church in Beaverton, Mich. and chairwoman for the 10th Congressional District in Michigan. Mrs. Morrison held several offices in the Veterans of Foreign Wars including past president of the post auxiliary, past president of the VFW district, past VFW home chairwoman and the Military Order of Cooties. She served on the presidential election campaign for Jimmy Carter and was currently serving as the Selective Service chairman in Gladwin County, Mich. Survivors include her husband, Walter Morrison of Lecanto, Fla. and Beaverton, Mich.; daughter, Harriette Bongiovanni of Rochester Hills, Mich.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth Harper of Ravenna; Brothers, William, George and Newton Harper; and sisters, Maude Stephenson, Betty Stephenson and Mildred Stidd, died previously. Services will be held Friday in Lecanto, Fla.
