Former Randolph resident, Robert A. Horning, 74, died Dec. 25 at his home in Sparks, Nev. where he lived for the past 35 years. Born Dec. 21, 1923, he was the son of Herman and Carrie (Miller) Horning. Mr. Horning was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW and the military order of Cooties. He was also retired from the Teamsters. Survivors include his wife, Ruth' sons, Martin of Roseville, Calif. and Robert Jr. of Gardnerville, Nev.; daughters, Robin Schooler of Bonanza, Ore. and Suzanne Bocchi of Klamath Falls, Ore.; nine grandchildren; brothers, Gerald (Lil) of Mesa, Ariz., Ernest (Linda) of Lexington, Ky., Glenn (Cil) of Suffield; and sisters, Mrs. Tom (Florence) Hogan of Fairfax, Va. and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Klodt of Randolph. Services have already taken place.
