Roderick Crane

AURORA - Roderick K. Crane, 68, died Thursday in Las Vegas. Born June 22, 1929 in Quinwood, W.Va., he was the son of Loftis and Hettie (Meadows) Crane. Mr. Crane was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served from 1947 to 1951. He worked as an electrician at Ford Motor Co. in Walton Hills and later at General Motors in Mansfield. Survivors include his sons, Roderick J. (Pamela) of Lyndhurst and Charles N. of Aurora; daughters, Mrs. Gary (Adele) Davis of Henderson, Nev., Mrs. Les (Anna M.) Quirk of Cleveland, Patti L. Carlin of Cleveland, Eva A. of Aurora and Mrs. Bill (Leona A.) Pinter of Hiram; four grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Russell, Ted and Everett; and sister, Dollie Kinney of Orlando. His wife, Annie Mary (Ahee), and sister, Deloris Skidmore, died previously. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Romito Funeral Home in Twinsburg where services will be held at 11 am. Tuesday. Burial will be in Aurora Cemetery.
