Jessie Kaminski Yablonski, 70, of Creston, a Kent native, died of cancer Tuesday at her home.
Born May 2, 1927 in Kent, she was the daughter of John and Stephania Kaminski. She had lived in Creston in Wayne County for 47 years.
Survivors include her husband, Henry, to whom she was married for 48 years; children, Marianne and Larry Blough of Sterling, Steve of Wooster, David and Lisa of Norristown, Pa., Stanley "Tosh" and Sue of Green, Barbara and Larry Lukas of Parma, Joanne and Warren Burgess of Brook Park, Julie and Miles Steele of Covington, Ga., and John and Beth of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Al (Norma) Kaminski of Kent; and sister, Jay (William) Underwood of Kettering. A sister, Helen Steffes, and two grandchildren died previously.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster.
