Helger Forsman

Former Kent resident Helger "Hal" L. Forsman, 81, of Port Richey, Fla., who had owned H&L Machine in Kent, died Thursday at his home.

He was born in Minneapolis, Minn, and moved to Port Richey from Indian River, Mich. 11 years ago.

Mr. Forsman had been a member of the Rockton Massonic Temple in Kent, the Tadmor Shrine Temple in Akron and the New Port Richey Shrine Club.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J.; sons, Peter D. of Hermosa Beach, Calif. and Robert of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; daughters, Christine Stanley of Appleton, Wisc. and Jill of Kent; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

There will be no services and cremation will take place. Arrangements were made by Michels and Lundquist Funeral Home in New Port Richey, Fla.
