NEWTON FALLS _ Paul G. Fihn, 79, of Newton Falls died Saturday. Born March 31, 1918, in Akron, he was the son of Joe Fihn and Regina Gimpel. He had lived in Newton Falls since 1921. Mr. Fihn worked at Rockwell International in Newton Falls for 24 years until it closed in 1976. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ruth, whom he married on May 8, 1948; daughters, Mrs. Robert (Rosemary) Woolard of Leavittsburg, Mrs. James (Regina) Kline of Newton Falls, and Mrs. Thomas (Sandra) Vandyke of Warren; son, Paul J. Fihn of Leavittsburg; sisters, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Huzvar, and Mrs. Fred (Margaret) Pangler; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Roger Fihn, and sister, Lanora Fihn, died previously. There are no services. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were handled by James Funeral Home in Newton Falls.
