Betty Davis

Betty M. Davis, 71, of Braun Road, Belpre, Ohio , a former Aurora resident, died Tuesday at home.

Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of Maude and Gladys (Ruble) Chapman. She graduated from John Adams High School in Cleveland.

Mrs. Davis worked at Pick and Pay in Cleveland.

She was a member of Streetsboro Church of God and attended the 19th Street Church of God in Parkersburg, W.Va.

Survivors include sons, Kenneth G. of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Meredith E. of Sevierville, Tenn; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Patty Rankin of Cleveland. Her husband, Mostyn A., died in 1995. A daughter, Evelyn Ann, brother, Robert Chapman, and sister, Juanita Estes, died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Ogdin-Kimes Funeral Home in Parkersburg, where services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday. Additional services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Streetsboro Church of God. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Bedford Heights.
